In Aledo ISD, phone calls are not accepted as documentation for absences. Parents are welcome to give a courtesy call to the attendance clerk to report an absence, but a note will be required upon the student’s return to school. New for 2024-2025, all student absences (grades PK-12) should be reported through the district's absence reporting form. For more information, visit the district's Attendance Matters! site.

Please contact the child's classroom teacher and the front office to relay any dismissal changes prior to 2:30pm.

Excellent! As a volunteer, you contribute directly to the the exceptional experiences our students and staff have everyday. Reading to students, answering phones and making copies, your help is greatly appreciated and needed. All volunteers must attend a mandatory training session and have an annual background check.
